KTL LIVE ARCHIVE

John Cratchley thumbnail
John Cratchley Plenty of material to get your teeth into here...well over 50 hours in this archive (by my quick calculation)!
It seemed churlish not to access it all for long-term listening.
Stephen O'Malley and Peter Rehberg are fiercely uncompromising and this material produces a lot of surface tension...you have to 'push on through' aurally, so to speak, to plumb the depths of their musical vision...I think it's worth the effort...it's good to keep your mind open and receptive to new (sometimes extreme) stimuli...I'm enjoying my unexpected responses to this music and I think this will be a constantly evolving phenomenon.

KTL is a living piece of music, where long, flexible and free evolution is important to the character of the sound, and allowing all potential possibility to remain open in the performances. ... more
