Les deux pistes de Kannon (Japanese bonus tracks) sont des versions alternatives de "Kannon 1" et "Kannon 2" mais elles sont un ajout de taille pour deux raisons : elles permettent à Kannon d'atteindre les cinquante-cinq minutes et elles donnent aussi une vraie conclusion à cette cérémonie. Atmosphérique, "Sending pearl of light" met dans un état de transe ; le drone de "She played such music, Flowers blossomed", entre grondements telluriques et silences, fait de nous un fil entre ciel et terre.

"Recorded during SUNN O)))s European tour 2005, culminating at Roskilde Festival, Denmark" : laissez-moi vous dire qu'il n'y a pas que cette tournée qui arrive à son point culminant mais aussi Sunn O))) d'un point de vue général car Solstitium Fulminate, qui sert d'appendice à Black One, est un monument qui conjugue noirceur vampirique avec une certaine forme d'absolu. Le ton musical plonge très vite dans les graves pour nous faire entrer dans le royaume de la mort. Attila Csihar est un Charon.
